Emily

Operator

Emily is a rising junior at St. Olaf’s College in Minneapolis majoring in social work. An experienced camp counselor, she knows how to bring the fun for groups of children. She lives in the Oak Park area and has driven as 12 hours round trip to see a concert, so her foam party playlist absolutely rocks.

Gavin

Operator

Gavin is a rising sophomore in engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He’s a proud volunteer for the Best Buddies program and a member of the Computer Coding Club and Art Club, so expect him to put that DALL-E AI art thing out of business any day now.

Hugh

Operator

Hugh is a senior majoring in economics at the University of Chicago. A former camp counselor and Eagle Scout, Hugh is active in Model UN and founded his college’s Geography Club. He’s so excited about foam parties, he created his playlist before he even interviewed with us.

Ilma

Operator

Ilma is a junior in business at the University of Illinois. She’s tutored third graders in Mandarin, coached seventh graders in beach volleyball, and now brings foamy fun to children of all ages. In her free time she’s an avid volley- and pickleballer.

Quinn

Senior Operator

Quinn is an accomplished playwright and performer who now teaches for CPS. Originally from Phoenix, she has no problem with Chicago’s summer heat, but loves that she gets to be the reason for cool summer fun for so many children. She lives in Logan Square with a reptile menagerie.

Rafael

Senior Operator

Rafa is a psychology major at McGill University in Montreal, and plans to become a clinical psychologist. During the week he does field studies on children, and on weekends he does foam parties for children in fields. He lives in West Town, where he has easy access to the honey and salami pizza at Coalfire, which he thinks you should try.

Shawnee

Operator

During the school year, Shawnee’s job is to make children smile—she’s a school photographer. She developed her artist’s eye majoring in photography at Columbia College. Aside from photography and foam she has an encyclopedic knowledge of Chicago’s best spots for crab.
